What are Humbl Bites pineapple tarts made of?
Our pineapple tarts are made from nine simple ingredients: Fresh pineapples, plain flour, real butter, eggs, sugar, condensed milk, salt, sunflower oil and bicarbonate of soda. No preservatives, no palm oil, no margarine, no artificial flavourings. Every ingredient is chosen for taste and quality.
What allergens do your pineapple tarts contain?
Our pineapple tarts contain three allergens: wheat, milk, and egg. They are also made in a kitchen that handles nuts, so we cannot guarantee they are nut-free. If you have a severe nut allergy, please take this into account before ordering. We take allergen handling seriously and follow strict kitchen hygiene protocols, but we cannot eliminate the risk of cross-contamination entirely.
Are your pineapple tarts suitable for vegans?
No, our pineapple tarts contain butter, milk, and egg, so they are not suitable for a vegan diet. We may introduce a vegan variant in the future, but our current range is not vegan.
Are your pineapple tarts halal?
Our ingredients are all halal-friendly. We use no alcohol, no pork-derived products, and no animal fats other than real butter. However, our kitchen is not formally halal-certified. If you require formally certified halal products, ours may not meet that standard. If you have questions about your specific requirements, please contact us.
How long do your pineapple tarts last?
Our pineapple tarts have a shelf life of 2 weeks from the date of baking. We bake fresh and dispatch within 24 hours of coming out of the oven, so you'll always receive them at their best. For the best experience, we recommend enjoying them within the first 2 weeks.
How should I store my pineapple tarts?
Store your pineapple tarts in a cool, dry place in their original container. Once opened, keep the container sealed to preserve freshness. They don't need to be refrigerated, but if you live somewhere very warm, a cool spot is ideal. Please don't freeze them, the pastry loses its delicate texture.
What makes Humbl Bites different from supermarket pineapple tarts?
Three things. First, we hand make every tart, no factory production, no machines shaping the pastry. Second, we use real butter and fresh pineapple cooked slowly into jam over four hours, not pineapple concentrate or industrial fillings. DELIVERY AND SHIPPING
How quickly will my order arrive?
We bake fresh to order and aim to dispatch within 24 hours of baking. Most UK orders arrive 1-2 working days after dispatch. During busy seasons (Chinese New Year, Christmas, Eid), we'll always communicate expected delivery times clearly when you order.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Currently we only ship within the United Kingdom. We're working on expanding to international delivery for customers in Europe, if you'd like to be notified when this launches, join our mailing list or contact us directly.
How are the tarts packaged for delivery?
Every order is hand-packed in an air-tight, food-grade plastic jar that keeps the tarts fresh from our oven to your door. Each tart sits individually in its own paper cup inside the tub, so nothing moves around in transit and every one arrives looking exactly as it should. Every order also includes a handwritten thank you card, more on that below.
What if I'm not home when my delivery arrives?
Our courier will follow standard delivery procedures, which usually means either leaving your parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour, or returning the next working day. Because our tarts are shelf-stable for two weeks and don't need refrigeration, a short delay in collection won't affect them.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout based on your location. We offer free UK delivery on orders over a set threshold, the current threshold is shown at checkout. For the most accurate delivery cost, add your items to the cart and enter your postcode.
GIFTING
Can I send pineapple tarts as a gift?
Yes, pineapple tarts make a wonderful gift, especially during Chinese New Year, Eid, Christmas, Easter, or any occasion that calls for something thoughtful. Simply enter the recipient's address as the delivery address at checkout. We'll handle the rest.
Can I include a personal message with a gift?
Yes, we hand-write the recipient's name and a short personal message on the thank you card included with every order. When you place your order, add your message in the order notes box on the cart page and we'll make sure it's written on the card. Because everything is handwritten, please keep messages short (a sentence or two) and let us know clearly whose name to address.
Will the recipient see the price?
No, we never include a receipt, invoice, or price information in the parcel. The recipient will only see the tarts, the packaging, and the handwritten thank you card.
Can I schedule delivery for a specific date?
We bake and dispatch to order, so we can't guarantee delivery on a specific day through standard shipping. However, if you need your order to arrive for a particular occasion, a birthday, a festival; please contact us before placing your order and we'll do our best to time the bake and dispatch accordingly. For time-sensitive gifts, we recommend ordering well in advance.
ORDERS AND PAYMENT
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. All payments are processed securely through Shopify, and we never see or store your card details.
Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?
Because we bake fresh to order, we may have already started preparing your order shortly after you place it. If you need to cancel or change something, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@humblbites.co.uk and we'll do our best to help. Once an order has been dispatched, we're unable to cancel it.
Do I need to create an account to order?
No. you can check out as a guest without creating an account. However, creating an account makes reordering easier and lets you track your delivery history.
